Milwaukee Bucks: Running through final day seeding scenarios
The Milwaukee Bucks face the Miami Heat in the playoffs if…
After having taken their season series with the Heat Saturday night at Fiserv Forum, the Bucks may get used to seeing plenty more of the Heat very soon.
Although it could come earlier than when the Bucks saw the Heat during last year’s playoffs, which saw Miami rip through the Bucks like a buzzsaw in five games, the Bucks will face up against their playoff demons head-on with Miami. The Heat have a 76.3 percent chance in finishing in sixth place in the East.
The Heat close out their season with a date against the Detroit Pistons Sunday night just as the Bucks will be closing out their season against fellow central division rival, the Chicago Bulls.
But due to the Knicks having the tiebreaker over the Heat, a victory alone in Detroit won’t improve the Heat’s seeding. Therefore, it’s all dependent on the Knicks losing to the Boston Celtics Sunday afternoon and there are some things that aren’t necessarily working in the Bucks’ favor if they want to avoid the Heat.
With everything holding on what goes down in the big Apple, the Bucks are very much prepared to take on quite the test if their rematch with the Heat ends up coming to fruition.
