The Milwaukee Bucks have a talent advantage against the Miami Heat

This is certainly the most debatable point to make, but it’s certainly one that Jrue Holiday declared ahead of the start of the series when meeting with the media Tuesday afternoon.

As Holiday pointed out himself, talent alone won’t carry the Bucks to an NBA Finals bid or solely help them get through the Heat in this upcoming rematch. However, it’s clear that the trio of Antetokounmpo, Holiday and Middleton has helped shore up the Bucks’ top-line talent deficiency from what we’ve seen of the Bucks this regular season.

Of course, this is the time of year in which the Bucks’ core has to prove they are up capable of leading the way towards a deep playoff run. After all, Miami made the case for having strength in numbers last season in dismantling the Bucks in the playoffs.

The Heat will look to show exactly that again, even as the likes of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo are playing the best basketball of their careers this season, respectively. With this challenge waiting for them, the Bucks’ ‘Big 3’ will have to show they’re up to the task of getting past the very team that ended their season last year.
