Donte DiVincenzo has brought his trademark hustle to the Milwaukee Bucks in series vs. Heat

It hasn’t been the greatest start to the postseason individually for Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo, especially offensively.

Through the first two games, DiVincenzo has scored just eight total points on 3-for-12 shooting (2-for-10 from 3-point line). So it has gone for the third-year guard throughout this 2020-21 season and eventually, the Bucks will need some sort of scoring burst from him over the course of this playoff run.

For now, though, DiVincenzo’s hustle and motor has led to him making heads up plays in the ways he only knows how.

DiVincenzo is averaging 8.5 rebounds per game in the series so far, a mark that stands behind Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Plays like the following are so routine to DiVincenzo and his ability to track down the Bucks’ own misses on the offensive end has long been his calling card throughout his NBA career.

In the 60 minutes that DiVincenzo has been on the court this series, the Bucks have hauled in 59.7 percent of rebounds, per NBA.com/stats. In the 41 minutes DiVincenzo has been on the sidelines, the Bucks have snared down 53.1 percent of rebounds.

That’s quite the disparity and DiVincenzo will be key for the Bucks to maintain making the winning plays that has already been a difference playing against the Heat this year compared to last season.
