Jrue Holiday shows he’s a difference maker for the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 3 win over Heat

The bigger picture with the Jrue Holiday trade was always about the postseason from the beginning, and what the Bucks envisioned is coming to fruition quickly.

Holiday had himself another phenomenal all-around game highlighted by racking up 19 points on a highly efficient 7-for-10 shooting, including 2-for-4 from deep. The guard was putting in shots from everywhere on the floor with relative ease and proving once more that he can be a reliable scoring option for this team in the backcourt, which is reassuring in these playoffs.

In addition to his top-tier scoring, Holiday flashed his playmaking prowess once more by dishing out a whopping 12 assists. Similar to his ability to put the ball in the hoop under pressure, Holiday has given this team another trustworthy ball handler that can take the reigns for the offense over Giannis or Khris Middleton at times.

While single game plus-minus can oftentimes be a flawed stat to some degree, Holiday’s overall impact was written all over this game as he finished with a +41 on the night. He has unlocked another element to this Milwaukee team on both ends of the floor as he continues showing that he could potentially be the player that separates this team from the Bucks of the past two years.
