The Milwaukee Bucks have to get their shooting back on track in Game 2 against Nets

As the Bucks await what the Nets’ starting unit looks like going Game 2, they will surely hope they can shoot so much better than they did to open up the series over the weekend.

Going 6-for-30 from the 3-point line as the Bucks did in Game 1 simply isn’t going to cut it if they want to steal a game in the series, much less in Brooklyn. Of course, the Bucks shot worse in their heroic Game 1 win over the Miami Heat in the first round, but the Bucks simply can’t afford another porous shooting performance when going up against an offensive juggernaut like the Nets.

Certainly the most concerning aspect of the Bucks’ shooting display and overall performance was the early attempts in the shot clock they launched up. Milwaukee shot 1-for-12 on threes taken within 22-18 seconds in the shot clock during Game 1.

There’s no question that was a byproduct of the jitters that Giannis Antetokounmpo talked about following the loss and for as much as they have a size advantage, letting it fly is interwoven into their DNA.
