Khris Middleton has underperformed for the Milwaukee Bucks in matchup with Brooklyn Nets

After having a breakthrough series in round one against the Heat, Khris Middleton has once again fueled the narrative that he cannot be trusted in the postseason.

Over two games, the forward is averaging just 15 points while shooting 30.2 percent (13-for-43) from the floor and 23.1 percent (3-for-13) from behind the arc. The typically silky-smooth scorer has gone freezing cold from the floor, highlighted by an 0-for-8 shooting start in Game 2 that saw him get his first bucket just before halftime. Also turning the ball over at an awfully high rate, this abysmal start has made Middleton virtually unplayable to this point in the series.

There genuine is no clear-cut solution here for Middleton to fix the issue. The forward is missing his triples, his often automatic mid-range jumpers, and even his easy shots right at the rim to the point where seeing anything go in the basket has become a cause for celebration in Milwaukee. The only legitimate answer here is that Middleton must knock down his shots. It seems like a fairly simple solution, which it is, but the forward has yet to do it in this series.

After an awful two-game start, Middleton must do some soul searching. If his confidence is still beating with a resemblance of a pulse, then he must establish an immediate rhythm in Game 3.
