How did the Atlanta Hawks perform against the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 2?

F. Being down by as many as 41, there were certainly not too many bright spots for the Atlanta Hawks in this matchup. They went as Trae Young did in Game 1, but their star player was unable to put together another herculean performance in this game. Young scored 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting from the floor, including 1-of-8 from behind the arc. The Bucks did a far superior job defending him compared to his 48 point effort in Game 1, making it virtually impossible for him to replicate that success this time around. Young’s supporting cast failed to step up as the team’s next leading scorer with Danilo Gallinari with 12, followed by Cam Reddish and John Collins with 11 apiece. It was a poor night offensively for everyone involved as the team shot 9-of-36 from behind the arc, unable to find any rhythm with their outside stroke. They also grew prone to turnovers as they logged 19 on the night compared to just 13 assists. The Bucks undoubtedly made them pay in that regard with a massive amount of points scored off those opportunities. It was just an all-around terrible game for the Hawks as they failed to make this game competitive after the Bucks took off running in the second quarter.. . Opponent. ATLANTA HAWKS
