Jrue Holiday continues his stellar play in Game 2 for the Milwaukee Bucks in win over Atlanta Hawks

Arguably the biggest bright spot in the series to this point for the Bucks has been the top-tier play from Holiday. The guard had struggled to find his offensive groove throughout the first two rounds of the postseason, but he has been clicking during these latest two meetings.

Game 1 saw Holiday do everything possible to try and will the Bucks to victory with 33 points and 10 assists in the loss. In Friday night’s Game 2, Milwaukee’s starting floor general came out with a similar aggressive mindset and asserted himself into the game fairly quickly. Playing just 32 total minutes, Holiday finished with 22 points on a highly efficient 9-of-14 shooting from the floor, including 3-of-4 from deep. Also handing out seven assists to his teammates, the facilitator was playing up to par last night.

Across two games, Holiday is averaging 27.5 points on 59 percent shooting from the floor and 50 percent from behind the arc while also tallying 8.5 assists per game. He has been nothing short of phenomenal in what is his first trip to the Conference Finals in his career, making his name known on the biggest stage. Regaining his stroke offensively has given the Bucks a much-needed boost, and keeping him in a rhythm will be critical for their hopes in this series. In fact, in addition to everything he does defensively, Holiday’s offense might make him the ultimate secret weapon in this series.
