The Milwaukee Bucks must come out attacking in Game 6 against Atlanta Hawks

Energy and effort have been a significant storyline for the Bucks in this series throughout the first five games played.

This team came out unmotivated in Game 4, and despite the Hawks missing their best player in Trae Young, they demolished the Bucks. Milwaukee never claimed a lead throughout the contest, as this game seemed like Atlanta’s all the way through. Many questioned Milwaukee’s heart in the loss, given that they are playing in the Eastern Conference Finals, and rightfully so.

The Bucks flipped the script to kick off Game 5 by coming out of the gates with energy, rifling off a quick 20-point lead in the first quarter. Lopez led the charge by scoring 12 points in the opening period, while Holiday followed close behind with 11, and Portis took third place with six. They were also active on the defensive end by snatching four steals and blocking two shots to get the crowd roaring and energy flowing. Because of this hot start from the Bucks, the Hawks never managed to gain a lead, despite several valiant pushes to cut it close.

With a chance to finish off this series on the road and secure a berth in the NBA Finals, the Bucks need to come out motivated to put this series away. That includes everything that was mentioned previously, including an early attack down low from Lopez, smarter offensive decisions by Holiday, and another energy-packed performance from Portis straightaway.
