The Suns were working like a well-oiled machine in this matchup, with practically everything tipping in their favor on both ends. The biggest highlight of the night was their tremendous 3-point shooting, as they knocked in a franchise playoff record 20 triples in 40 attempts. They torched the Bucks all night long, exploiting one of their long-standing weaknesses. Devin Booker and Chris Paul continued their dominance over the Bucks by hitting 10 of those triples and scoring a combined 54 points. They got a massive lift from Mikal Bridges, who clocked in a career performance by talking 27 points on 8-of-15 shooting, while also playing some pestering defense to make Milwaukee’s wing uncomfortable. With starting center Deandre Ayton struggling to hit his shots (4-of-10 from the floor), Bridges played a massive factor in Phoenix’s win by stepping up as the third complement to Booker and Paul. Between the three, there was no slowing down this red-hot Phoenix team as they outmuscled Milwaukee in practically every way imaginable. Their intensity and determination undoubtedly outweighed that of Milwaukee. When the Bucks cut the game to single digits, it seemed like the Suns would go on yet another run to balloon their lead back into double figures and keep the game out of reach. Their hustle was unmatched and on display all night long as they cruised to another victory to take a 2-0 series lead.. . Opponent. PHOENIX SUNS . A+
