Despite shooting a measly 7-of-23 from behind the arc, the Suns finished this game shooting 40-for-78 (51.3 percent) from the field. A monumental portion of this offense came from Devin Booker, who had a bounce-back performance for the ages after a lackluster Game 3. Booker would come out motivated from the opening tip in this one, getting himself going early on the offensive end and hitting tough jumpers time and time again no matter who the Bucks threw his direction on the defensive end. Despite finishing with 42 points on 60.7 percent shooting from the field, Booker’s phenomenal night was not enough to prevent Milwaukee’s comeback. That would be because of the minimal contributions from Phoenix’s supporting cast, mainly Chris Paul. CP3 would score just 10 points on 13 shots while logging five turnovers. Whether they were unforced errors or great defensive plays by the Bucks, these turnovers were devastating for the Suns that played a huge factor in this loss. Still, Paul is not the only one to receive criticism as, although he hauled in 17 rebounds, big man Deandre Ayton was largely kept in check as he tallied only six points on nine shot attempts. Phoenix’s second-leading scorer was Jae Crowder, who would score 15 points on 3-of-10 shooting, doing most of his damage at the free throw line. Ultimately, Booker’s big night was not enough as the supporting cast failed to help him out, despite the team’s overall efficient shooting performance. The 17 turnovers and 24 personal fouls also proved to be killers that helped the Bucks creep back into this game and eventually secure the victory.. . Opponent. PHOENIX SUNS . C+
