How did the Phoenix Suns perform in Game 5 against the Milwaukee Bucks?

Now, the Phoenix Suns certainly did not play a perfect game, as giving up a 16 point lead after the first quarter is far from ideal. However, despite that slip-up, they still played a solid game along the way, particularly on offense, where they finished shooting 55.2 percent from the floor and an eye-catching 68.4 percent from long range. Devin Booker would lead the Suns once again by scoring 40 points on 51.5 percent field goal shooting, doing everything within his power to try and get his team the victory. Yet, he would not have to do it alone as Chris Paul would rebound well from a disastrous Game 4 by scoring 21 points on 60 percent shooting and handing out 11 assists this time around. Deandre Ayton would round out their leading trio by scoring 20 points and hauling in 10 rebounds, making his presence felt on the interior all night long. These three played some of the best collective basketball together to this point in the series, but their Big 3 was not able to outduel that of Milwaukee’s on a night where they have everything clicking. The role players were a large factor for both teams, with the Suns getting a massive boost from Mikal Bridges and Jae Crowder, who combined for 23 points on 5-of-7 shooting from 3-point territory. However, their second unit managed to struggle to contribute as Milwaukee’s had no such issue, which proved to be a significant difference in the end. Despite the loss, the Suns played some reputable basketball in this matchup, making this a one-point game in the closing moments before the Bucks made a sensational defensive play that ultimately won them the game.. .
