C+. With their backs against the wall, the Phoenix Suns gave it everything they had in this pivotal Game 6. After trailing by 13 points following the first quarter, not only did the Suns battle back, but they claimed the lead and kept it close for most of this game. It did not help that they could not hit a 3-pointer consistently, shooting just 6-of-25 from deep in the contest. Chris Paul led the way with 26 points on 57.9 percent shooting from the floor while dishing five assists. After some disappointing performances that had many calling for him to step up, he delivered and left it all out on the floor. Meanwhile, the Bucks emphasized slowing down Devin Booker, a strategy that worked as the guard scored 19 points on 8-of-22 shooting, struggling to find his rhythm all night with Jrue Holiday pestering him consistently. Starting center Deandre Ayton finished with 12 points on 12 shot attempts, largely being a non-factor. The same goes for his effort on the defensive end, as he struggled to contain Antetokounmpo as the Greek Freak constantly powered his way past the big man and flat-out dominated. The Suns threw Jae Crowder at Antetokounmpo as well, as they scrambled to contain him, but it was to no avail. Crowder gave the Suns a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds, proving to be one of their few lifelines. CP3’s stellar performance was not enough to help force a Game 7, but the Suns fought up until the very end before the Bucks simply ran away with the win.. . Opponent. PHOENIX SUNS
