Milwaukee Bucks’ Elijah Bryant will look to gain extra reps in the Summer League

Elijah Bryant, the former BYU star, is looking to gain some more playing time for the Bucks in the Summer League.

After coming aboard mid-season and seeing limited playing time during the Bucks’ championship run, he will get a chance to showcase his abilities. Bryant spent the first years of his professional career overseas, and he showed plenty of potential that season.

In his first year with Hapoel Eilat in the Israeli Premier League, Bryant finished as the league’s fourth-leading scorer averaging 17.5 points per game. Furthermore, he was given All-Israeli League First Team honors. His scoring output certainly drew some eyes to him. After his first year of professional basketball, he joined the Bucks’ Summer League team in 2019. During his debut, Bryant averaged an impressive 14.3 points, four rebounds, and three assists per game.

Bryant has the scoring potential that could help the Bucks. While he has some limitations in his defense, his time in the Summer League will provide some reps he wasn’t getting during the postseason. With prior experience in the Summer League, look for Bryant to have a nice run.
