Milwaukee Bucks’ Georgios Kalaitzakis will look to bounce back in the Summer League

The other new addition for the Milwaukee Bucks, Georgios Kalaitzakis, will also be looking to earn his first glimpse at the NBA level. The guard out of Greece is looking to bounce back from a lackluster season in the Euroleague with Panathinaikos.

Kalitzakis is a four-time Greek League champion but had difficulty translating his game as he stepped into the Euroleague, averaging only 1.6 points in 4 minutes across 12 games. After a brutally rough stretch for the 22-year-old guard, Kalaitzakis is looking to bounce back in the Summer League with the Bucks.

There is very little data available on Georgios, but the Bucks decided to take a chance on the young Greek as they look to shore up their depth at guard. Kalaitzakis will earn some time to prove himself in the Summer League as the Bucks look to develop the young guard. Georgios played in a competitive league overseas, so he has the toughness and competitive drive that could lead to some success at NBA level play.

With little data available on the young guard, it is hard to predict what we may see from him. However, this could mean that Kalaitzakis will be one of the most interesting players to watch due to the unknown factor he brings. Be sure to keep an eye on him as the Summer League begins.
