Milwaukee Bucks: Ranking the 5 best uniforms in team’s storied history
By Adam Zippan
Milwaukee Bucks jersey ranking No 2. — 2015/16-Present
These uniforms best represent the Giannis Antetokounmpo era for the Bucks and how he has become both the best and most dominant player in the league.
This complete new rebranding included a new color scheme of green, cream, blue and black, which represents both the city of Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin. These uniforms honored the blue-collar community values and introduced a much more modern design and a sleek logo, and while it took some getting used to initially, it seems like the redesign has grown on most people.
The color scheme gels nicely and gives both the home and road uniforms a clean, modern, crisp and sleek look. For the first time since the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar era, the roads introduced “MILWAUKEE” written across the front, which is both a different and nice representation of the city. The team also removed any semblance of red in both the home and road uniforms. This is a classic look and, again, gives the team less of a Christmas-colored theme.
Much like those teams with Pierce, Hodges, and Cummings, the Bucks wear these jerseys as one of the top contending teams in the league, so they should grow to be appreciated down the road. However, when it comes to remembering iconic jerseys, none may ever be able to top No. 1 after what the team recently accomplished while wearing them.
