Milwaukee Bucks: Ranking the 5 best uniforms in team’s storied history
By Adam Zippan
Milwaukee Bucks jersey ranking No 1. — 2019-Present
The Fear the Deer ‘statement’ jerseys were unveiled by the Bucks in 2019 and offered something fresh compared to the typical green and white uniforms.
These jerseys were introduced with a new twist. These all-black jerseys and shorts are very powerful, strong, and make a bold statement, as the name suggests. The look includes striping across the chest with cream-colored numbers. The stripes are blue, black, green, cream and white, representing what the franchise calls the “Cream City rainbow.”
What makes these uniforms stand out the most is that the Bucks wore these when they clinched their first championship in 50 years, when they beat the Phoenix Suns in Game 6. After five long decades without a title, the team undeniably made a statement as they overcame their playoff woes and cemented themselves as world champions. It seems safe to say that no Bucks fan will ever forget Antetokounmpo raising the Finals MVP trophy in the air while triumphantly letting out a victory yell in the now-iconic statement jersey. Statement made.
These slick, sleek uniforms with the updated deer logo on the chest could not have represented the Bucks, the city of Milwaukee, and the state of Wisconsin more fittingly on July 20, 2021.
This is the night that will go down in Milwaukee Bucks history that we will all never forget.
