No. 2 — The Milwaukee Bucks will have an improved roster in 2021-22

Despite ultimately winning the NBA championship, there is no doubt that the Bucks had their fair share of flaws on that roster. Understanding this, general manager Jon Horst got busy by making a slew of moving to improve the team once the offseason kicked off.

A few of the most notable moves included signing George Hill to replace Jeff Teague as the team’s backup point guard, re-signing Bobby Portis to a team-friendly deal, and swinging a solid trade for guard the ever-intense Grayson Allen. While those moves might be the team’s biggest wins of the offseason, that does not even include the signings of Rodney Hood or Semi Ojeleye, who also have the potential to be impactful role players on this team next season. Aside from possibly Allen, who could find himself in a starting role, every player on this list will help bolster the team’s second unit to give head coach Mike Budenholzer an endless amount of lineups to utilize.

In addition to drastically improving their bench, the Bucks will be returning their five starters from the regular season. Largely due to the fact that the team was trying to get such a massive piece in Jrue Holiday integrated into the lineup, this team battled with some chemistry woes early on in the year and throughout various points in the regular season. After winning a title with the team in his first year with them, he should have a great grip on the system entering year two. As Holiday gets ready for his second year with the Bucks, he will now have a reliable guard playing behind him in Hill also, which should be a fantastic one-two punch to bolster a previously weak position.

On paper, the Bucks are currently better than they were last season. While they lost a pair of key pieces in Tucker and Bryn Forbes in free agency, names like Allen, Hill, Ojeleye, and more should help fill the void. Tie that in with the starting five getting another year together, and this group will do big things.
