Jordan Nwora could see an increased workload around 15-20 minutes in his second season with the Milwaukee Bucks

Jordan Nwora, the second-year player out of Louisville, could see an increased workload in his second year. Nwora is one of the most interesting young players on Milwaukee’s roster due to his scoring ability.

The sharpshooter was selected in the second round of the 2020 NBA Draft. During his college years at Louisville, he posted impressive shooting numbers. In his three years at the University of Louisville, Nwora notched shooting splits of .445/.394/.785. Certainly, those numbers are nothing to scoff at. Nwora’s ability as a 3-point sharpshooter makes him an intriguing player in Milwaukee as the Bucks have thrived from beyond the arc under coach Mike Budenholzer.

Nwora has plenty of room to improve, but his abilities from beyond the arc speak for themselves. In his first season, Jordan averaged around nine minutes per game. In those nine minutes, he averaged nearly six points on 45.9 percent from the field and 45.2 from deep. While it is a limited sample size, Nwora shows an impressive ability to score. His Summer League debut drew plenty of eyes as he put up 30 points. If he is able to come close to his Summer League debut, it is safe to say Nwora will find a way into the rotation. While he may sit on the lower end of the spectrum of a 15-20 minute workload, his time spent on the court developing could pay dividends to the Bucks in the future.

All in all, Nwora is one of the most interesting players for the Bucks and could have a breakout year in his second year. Keep an eye on the young sharpshooter in his second season in Milwaukee. Ojeleye, Hood, and Nwora are some of the most interesting players for Milwaukee. While their rotational minutes may fluctuate throughout the season, it is likely that we will see plenty of action from these players going forward. While it is tough to predict each player’s potential workload, it may be safe to say they will see around 15-20 minutes this season.
