Milwaukee Bucks: Khris Middleton

Bold Prediction No. 3 – Khris Middleton makes both the All-Star team and an All-NBA team with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021-22

Middleton barely missed out on both of these last year, but looking at how consistent he has been with his production the past few seasons, he should have a solid chance again to make them this year.  If he does the first two things mentioned in this article (50/40/90 shooting and multiple big scoring games), there is no question he will be deserving of selections to both teams.

He seems like a safe lock to score 20 points, grab 6 rebounds, and dish out 5 assists per game on good efficiency. There are just not that many players in the league who you can say that about. Assuming that the Bucks are once again one of the best teams in the league, all of the arguments should be there for Middleton to be considered as both an All-Star and All-NBA player.

According to NBA.com/stats, only 20 players in the league last year played 50+ games and averaged 20+ points, five+ rebounds, and five+ assists, and Khris Middleton was one of them. If he can improve his already-good efficiency and his averages just a bit, it should help him make these teams.

Also, the Bucks winning the title last season should help people appreciate Khris Middleton more and potentially get him more votes. Many got bored with him, didn’t know a ton about him, or simply didn’t believe in him before because of his previous failures, but after seeing what he did in the playoffs, that should change. The entire Bucks team should get more love from fans and from the league now that they have the monkey off their back, and the All-Star and All-NBA voting could reflect this.

This should be another season where you know what you are getting from Middleton. He is going to do what he always does and be a top 20-25 player, but there are small steps and jumps he could take in order to really get some more recognition and receive more accolades this year with the Milwaukee Bucks.
