Milwaukee Bucks: Donte DiVincenzo

The Milwaukee Bucks could dangle Donte DiVincenzo in trade talks

On the flip side of looking at Nwora, if he shows enough improvement defensively in the absence of Donte DiVincenzo, the Bucks could find them in a position to move DiVincenzo. They already had shown a willingness to trade him as they attempted to before last season when they were dinged for tampering with Bogdan Bogdanovic.

If the Bucks find them in a position to add a proven shooter with playoff experience like the potential trade to acquire Danny Green, it would be in a similar vein as the trade for Bogdanovic in the sense of adding more shooters around Antetokounmpo. In addition to their willingness to move him, if Nwora can take a big enough step forward playing behind the newly extended Allen, it could render DiVincenzo expendable.

DiVincenzo potentially carries a bit more value in trade discussions. Also only being 24 years old, he could be appealing to both contenders and rebuilding teams alike. DiVincenzo has improved as a defender since entering the league and earns favor from coaches and players by being a grinder. DiVincenzo is one of those guys that will do whatever it takes to win and you can never have too many guys like that on your team. He will dive on the floor, dig in on defense, and is an underrated rebounder, while still on his rookie deal, making him affordable for opposing teams on a budget.
