Grayson Allen finds his stride for the Milwaukee Bucks versus his former team

Among the few bright spots in this loss was the stellar play from Allen, who lit it up on offense by tallying 18 points on 6-of-14 field goal shooting. Chipping in six rebounds to go along with it, this was arguably Allen’s most impressive performance yet in a Bucks uniform, and it came against his old team. A win would have made it all the sweeter, but it was welcoming to see the guard step up with several fellow starters sidelined.

Allen’s electric outside shooting was what helped propel his big night as he shot 5-of-10 from the outside. It was the most triples he has made with the Bucks in a single game, and the shot looked good as he hit them down the stretch to make this game interesting. After struggling to hit these shots throughout the first few games of the year, it is welcoming to see the guard finally find his footing and knock down these outside shots. That will continue to be the most significant factor in how well Allen performs with the Bucks this season.

It looks like Allen has adapted accordingly to his role, and this game was a great representation of that. Whenever he got the ball beyond the perimeter, he showed off his confidence by letting it fly with little to no hesitation. Knocking down 50 percent of his triples in this one, it seems like he did his job pretty well. Fingers crossed that he has finally found a sustainable rhythm, as the Bucks will need him to consistently step up with so many others sidelined.
