How will the Milwaukee Bucks defend against the Orlando Magic’s well-balanced offense?

Ok, I might be exaggerating a little bit since the Magic sit in the bottom five for offensive rating, but they have a lot of guys who can chip in and score on a nightly basis.

They aren’t a good offensive team by any means, but they have six players averaging 10 or more points per game this season. They’re led by second-year guard Cole Anthony who has been terrific this season, averaging nearly 20 points per game on around 56 percent true shooting.

Beyond him though, there are a few notable players worth spotlighting for the Magic as well. A personal favorite of mine is Wendell Carter Jr who, in my opinion, has been their best overall player this season. After being acquired from the Chicago Bulls last season in the Nikola Vucevic deal, Carter has had a breakout season, averaging 13.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and nearly a block and steal per game.

Perhaps most impressive with Carter Jr is his shooting. After a career-high in 3-point attempts last season (51 in 54 games), the 22-year-old has taken 58 this season (nearly four per game) and is shooting over 44 percent. I’ve liked the steps Carter Jr has taken this season and with the Bucks’ penchant for giving up 3s to pick-and-pop bigs, Carter could provide some problems.

Don’t sleep on Franz Wagner either, he’s having a stellar rookie season and hopefully, he doesn’t start a beef with Giannis Antetokounmpo like his brother (also on the Magic!) tried to do.
