Milwaukee Bucks: 2021-22 quarter grade for Thanasis Antetokounmpo

Thanasis Antetokounmpo is not a player who can get graded by their production. Everyone that watches the Bucks understands that Antetokounmpo’s impact comes from his immense hustle. That neverending energy has helped Thanasis earn a career-high 13.5 minutes per contest this season, and he has been making the most of it. Whether it be with his rebounding, defense, or occasional putback score at the basket, Antetokounmpo understands his role on this team, and the champ continues to thrive in it. There are times where he can be frustrating, absolutely, but Thanasis has been solid in his role, for the most part. He will not see playing time every night for the Bucks, but when he hears his name called, Thanasis will be ready to spring into action, a role tailor-made for him.

Milwaukee Bucks: 2021-22 quarter grade for Semi Ojeleye

Semi Ojeleye’s tenure as a Buck has gotten off to an unfortunate start. The power forward missed time to kick-off the season with a calf injury, and after being integrated into the rotation, Ojeleye is set to be sidelined for the next few weeks with more calf issues. During the 11 games that Ojeleye did play for the Bucks, he certainly did not make a strong first impression. He was horrendous on the offensive end, shooting a brutal 25.5 percent from the floor and 21.4 percent from three. The biggest issue with his offense is that most of Ojeleye’s looks from 3-point range have been open, he just has failed to knock them down consistently. The Bucks were not expecting Ojeleye to be a marksman when they brought him aboard, as they would be more reliant on his defense. He has been solid on that end in the small sample size of games, along with some solid rebounding. Yet, his treacherous shooting is what is truly holding him back from flourishing with the Bucks, and it will bog down this grade as well.
