The Milwaukee Bucks need to watch out for bounce back shooting nights from the Miami Heat

A large part of the reason why the Bucks blew out the Heat from start to finish in their previous game (aside from Miami not having Butler or Adebayo) was that their three best players shot the ball poorly.

Kyle Lowry, Tyler Herro, and Duncan Robinson shot a combined 12-of-39 from (30.7 percent) from the field and 5-of-20 (25 percent) from 3. It was the second night of a back-to-back on the road, so it was understandable that those three had off nights.

That can’t be assumed to be the case again tonight as the Heat will be at home and coming off of an off day yesterday. Herro has had a great bounce-back season in his third year, averaging over 21 points per game on around 55 percent true shooting.

That’s a trio that can get points in bunches, especially if they get hot from behind the 3-point line, unlike their last game. Although it’s hard to have much correlation between poor shooting performances and opponent defenses, the Bucks can still make life hard for the Heat trio regardless.

The Bucks will likely have Grayson Allen back for this game so he’ll join Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Pat Connaughton in defending the Heat’s best perimeter players, chasing Robinson around screens, and contesting jumpers.
