Will Jordan Nwora get another chance to get into the Milwaukee Bucks rotation tonight?

Just a few days ago, Jordan Nwora was well out of the rotation and that was highlighted in a game against the Miami Heat. The Bucks were blowing them out in the fourth quarter and head coach Mike Budenholzer was emptying his bench. Despite all of this, Nwora played a little over three minutes at the end of the game and that was it.

He was behind two veterans on the depth chart in Rodney Hood and Wesley Matthews while also struggling with his jumper. But, he may have gained another chance to prove he can get into the lineup after the news that Wesley Matthews was placed into health and safety protocols.

Nwora played over eight minutes against the Knicks, a modest amount but also the most he’s played over the last six games before that. He missed all four shots he took, which is not ideal, but there’s another chance for Nwora to earn some minutes over the next 10 days.

He is shooting an abysmal 27.6 percent on all pull-up shots this season, which have accounted for over 40 percent of his attempts this year, per NBA.com/stats. One positive is that he is shooting nearly 41 percent on catch-and-shoot 3s, which is something he could find a niche with until he can get a rhythm on his pull-up jumper.

If the Bucks rest some guys tonight, Nwora could get a look against the Celtics. He had some success against them earlier this season, scoring 11 points on 68.8 percent true shooting to go along with three rebounds and three assists.
