Jrue Holiday delivered an outstanding performance to lead the shorthanded Milwaukee Bucks to a big victory over the Indiana Pacers

With no Antetokounmpo and no Middleton, Jrue Holiday assumed the role of being Milwaukee’s lead man against Indiana. Taking on that extra responsibility and workload would not be an easy task, but Holiday embraced the challenge and ultimately led the Bucks to a hard-earned victory.

When it came to scoring the basketball, Holiday was in attack mode all night as he finished with a team-high 26 points on 12-of-18 shooting from the floor. Only two of those attempts came from long-range as Holiday consistently knifed his way to the basket and finished around the rim, even making a handful of highlight-reel-worthy plays along the way. The biggest instance that comes to mind was when Holiday took it to the hoop on consecutive offensive possessions and finished with his left hand over Indiana’s big men on both.

In addition to his scoring, Holiday took on added ball-handling duties, having orchestrated the offense for most of the night. The veteran floor general was a masterful maestro as he dished out a season-high 14 assists while tallying just two turnovers. When a player is scoring the basketball at such a high level like Holiday had been all night, pristine facilitating makes him that much more lethal. Whether it was scoring, passing, defense, or just being a leader for the shorthanded Bucks, Holiday did a bit of everything to help propel the team to victory. Hats off to him.
