Jordan Nwora takes advantage of the expanded opportunity and delivered a solid showing for the Milwaukee Bucks

It seems like Jordan Nwora is the player that most people are keeping an eye on as the Bucks try to navigate through these roster issues. Many believed that he could be a constant contributor if he was placed in the normal rotation, and not only has he gotten an expanded opportunity lately, but he found himself starting once again Saturday night.

The sophomore was fantastic as he scored 28 points on 11-of-21 shooting, including 4-of-8 from behind the arc. Everyone knows he can score the basketball, but his efficiency and consistency are among the things constantly coming up in conversations, both of which were on display in Friday’s loss. He also tallied his second consecutive double-double by pulling down 11 rebounds, proving that he can make an impact on the glass in his 42 minutes.

Nwora is the player that can benefit the most from this extended playing time. The forward began the year with a critical role in the rotation but was later benched and put in the doghouse for a string of games up until the roster started to thin out recently. With so much uncertainty revolving around the team’s current players in the protocols, the second-year man must prepare to continue playing a pivotal role on a nightly basis. He should embrace the challenge as he looks to regain his spot in this rotation.
