Milwaukee Bucks: Khris Middleton, Jordan Nwora, Semi Ojeleye

Khris Middleton: Regain his touch from the midrange

It feels like a broken record when talking about Khris Middleton, but his season to this point has been incredibly weird. He’s been solid from 3-point range and his passing has been very good. However, he’s had some uncharacteristic struggles with his 2-pointers which has bogged down his efficiency stats.

He’s shooting right around 46 percent on his 2-point attempts, his worst mark since he came back from a torn hamstring in 2017. He looked much better against the Dallas Mavericks, but we’ve seen him with moments like that this season. Hopefully, it’s a sign of things to come.

Jordan Nwora: Consistent confidence

There may be no more talked-about player among Bucks fans this season than Jordan Nwora. He’s been very polarizing with fans of his convinced he’ll be a future starter and his detractors who don’t think he’ll be much of anything.

He’s had some low moments this season where he was briefly taken out of the rotation entirely. He struggled with his offense to begin the season and it was clear he was lacking a bit of confidence. Since being inserted back into the rotation (almost out of necessity), Nwora has strung together some fantastic performances that will, hopefully, keep his confidence up the rest of the way.

Semi Ojeleye: Just see a few threes go down

I’ll be honest, I was intrigued by the Semi Ojeleye signing in the offseason and thought he’d provide a solid defensive presence off the bench. He can guard bigger wings well and showed signs of a 3-point shot that was becoming reliable.

It has not been a great start to his Bucks tenure, between a nagging calf injury and some major shooting struggles, Ojeleye is looking like someone who may not be in the rotation at all if a couple of guys play well. I’ve liked what Ojeleye has brought on defense, but he’s unplayable if he doesn’t start hitting shots. I feel bad, though. Hopefully seeing a few go down will get his confidence back.
