3 takeaways from Milwaukee Bucks’ road win over the Orlando Magic

Jrue Holiday continued to make his All-Star case as he closed the game for the Milwaukee Bucks
Following a slow start to the season due to injuries and an illness, Jrue Holiday has kicked it into high gear in the month of December and is playing incredible basketball. The guard has played so well that many have already endorsed for him to be an All-Star this season, and although that is still quite far down the road, he undoubtedly bolstered his chances with a spectacular showing in the Bucks’ double-digit win over the Magic.
Offensively, Holiday was scoring the basketball at will, having finished with 18 points on the night. Shooting 7-of-10 on 2-pointers, the guard was once again in attack mode from inside the arc, an area where he has seen welcoming success this season. Holiday’s scoring barrage was pivotal in closing out this game as he scored nine points between the 5:28 to 2:23 mark of the fourth, doing what he does best and attacking the basket, though he did knock down his lone 3-pointer in that timeframe as well. He also handed out 10 assists in the game, getting his teammates in on all of the action as Holiday notched his fourth double-double of the season.
Holiday continued his red-hot December with another phenomenal performance last night, and he should continue to get the proper recognition for it. The veteran has been widely recognized as the most underrated player in the league for years now, and although winning the title with the Bucks helped him get some well-deserved spotlight, he is coming for an All-Star spot as well. If Holiday can keep his foot on the gas and continue to play as well as he has lately, it would be a travesty if he was not selected.
Holiday and the Milwaukee Bucks will look to continue their win streak as they take on the Magic again this Thursday, and be sure to catch the action at 6:00 p.m. CST on Bally Sports Wisconsin.
