3 Milwaukee Bucks’ goals before 2022 All-Star break: Khris Middleton tallying 50/40/90 shooting splits

As mentioned with the point guards, the Milwaukee Bucks have had several players miss time. Middleton is among that long list of players as he spent time in the health and safety protocols and also missed time with a hyperextended knee, which has led to some struggles when he has been fortunate enough to hit the floor.

He is having a bit of a down year by shooting 43.6 percent on field goals, 38.1 percent on 3-point shots, and 88.3 percent on free throws. However, since the calendar changed to 2022, Middleton has played much better with the exception of a game or two. Thus far in January, he is slashing .471/.429/.892. If Middleton can continue the trend of better shooting into the break and finish the season strong, he can give a lot of confidence to Bucks fans heading into the playoffs that the Bucks will be ready to defend their title.

Middleton has flirted with 50/40/90 shooting seasons over the past two years but has fallen just short both times. If he can build off his recent hot streak, perhaps this could be the year where he finally notches the historic achievement. If so, it would be a miraculous turnaround, given how he struggled so mightily to begin the season. Hopefully he can sustain this recent momentum as the Bucks look to close out strong until the break.
