The Milwaukee Bucks need to simply take care of business against the Portland Trail Blazers

For as shorthanded as the Bucks will be on legit rotation players, they’re still the heavy favorites and need to treat this game as such. They blew out the Blazers less than two weeks ago and Portland has only gotten worse since then.

You wouldn’t know that from how they’ve played in their last two games, though!

Sure, the Los Angeles Lakers are not good and the same goes for the New York Knicks, but for a team that traded away a bunch of good players and are being led by Anfernee Simons and Nurkic, those are games they should have lost.

In fact, they even came back from a more than 20 point deficit against the Knicks! And closed out a game against LeBron James playing incredible basketball! Don’t look past these Blazers, folks!

There shouldn’t be a ton of concern, though. The Bucks are much, much better than the Lakers and Knicks. While that’s a very “well, duh” statement, they know how to close out games and not let a weaker opponent have a chance to get into a game.

Portland had zero answers for Antetokounmpo in their last meeting, he posted 29 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and a block in under 25 minutes. He went to the free throw line 15 times and hit four 3s. Expect more of the same from the reigning Finals MVP.

In an ideal world, they’ll be able to keep the minutes low for tonight as they play again tomorrow against the Indiana Pacers, but with how shorthanded they are, we’ll see how that plan goes!

I’m, uh, not overly concerned about this one and the Bucks should win comfortably barring some outrageous shooting performance.
