5 most anticipated Milwaukee Bucks games down the stretch: April 5th @ Chicago Bulls

The Bucks play the Chicago Bulls three times in their final 22 games and you could argue any of those games are highly anticipated, but I’m going with their final meeting of the season.

Sure, there will be a ton of emotions on March 4th in Chicago given all that happened in the first meeting between these teams, but the Bulls also won’t be at full strength. Zach LaVine, Lonzo Ball, and Alex Caruso have all missed time with various injuries, but they all could be back in time for that final meeting at the United Center.

The rivalry was certainly renewed between these franchises when Allen’s dangerous play on Caruso led to him breaking his wrist. The Bulls want to prove they can hang with the defending champs and the Bucks want to prove they can’t. Rivalries are fun!

Aside from all of the drama around Allen and Caruso, it’s also a game that could have implications on the standings. Depending on how the first two games go after the break, this game could have an impact on tiebreaker scenarios as well as the actual seeding itself.

Chicago is tied with Miami for first in the East and, as I said earlier if Milwaukee wants to get a higher seed and home-court advantage, then beating the Bulls in these games will go a long way in doing that.

The Bucks have their work cut out for them the rest of the way with all of the quality opponents they’ll play (I’m also excited for their games against the Golden State Warriors, Memphis Grizzlies, and Boston Celtics), but they’re also lucky that if they want to move up the standings, they’ll play teams ahead of them.
