How much will Brook Lopez and George Hill play for the Milwaukee Bucks and how will they look?

Even on a day where the Milwaukee Bucks get good injury news, they also received some very bad injury news. We’ll focus on the positives though: Brook Lopez and George Hill are back!

While that means more for the long-term outlook of the team than this one game, it’s always fun to project how much a guy will play after a long layoff and how they’ll look in their return.

Hill missed 16 games with neck soreness and Carte has played very well in his eight games as a Buck. They’ll certainly ease Hill back after so many games off, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him get around 15 minutes after the news about DeAndre’ Bembry, even though they aren’t the same position group.

It’s a bit of a silver lining that the 35-year-old Hill got some rest even though it was due to injury.

Lopez is a massive question mark. He’s missed all but one game this season and is coming off of back surgery. I’d be a little surprised if we saw him play 15 or so minutes with those things in mind.

Still, it will be important to keep an eye on Lopez’s mobility early on to see how well he’s moving post-surgery. He’s not Jaren Jackson Jr. in terms of mobility but he was able to keep up with smaller players on the perimeter at times.

I’m just happy the Bucks are getting guys back at a crucial part of the season heading into the playoffs.

As for the game itself, I’m always going to be optimistic and think the Bucks can win any game they play, but getting a win in Utah sure would be nice (even if the players don’t care about the random 20-plus-year curse).

I mean, come on, the Bucks won a championship before they got a win in Utah. It shouldn’t be that hard.
