No. 2 – Rayjon Tucker has been a pivotal piece for the Wisconsin Herd over the past few years, and the Milwaukee Bucks have now rewarded him

Not only is it great to see the Milwaukee Bucks add youth by signing Tucker, but it is especially welcoming because it is someone that comes from in-house.

Tucker has spent considerable time with the Wisconsin Herd, the Bucks’ G-League affiliate, over the past several years. Having logged two different stints with the team in 2019-20 and then in 2020-21, the 24-year-old has played 49 of his 69 G-League games with the Herd. He has been recognized for his strong play countless times, like when he won G-League Player of the Month for December in 2019 and was named All-NBA G-League for the Eastern Conference soon after.

During his time with the Herd, Tucker has left his mark on the franchise. According to RealGM, he ranks second in total games played, second in minutes, second in points, sixth in rebounds, sixth in assists, and seventh in steals in the Herd’s history. Due to these contributions, Tucker has been synonymous with the Herd over the last few years, having led the franchise and etched his name in the team’s history books forever in the process.

While being signed by the Bucks is not just a celebratory signing for his contributions to the Herd over the years, it is exciting to see Tucker get the call-up after the work he has put in during his time in Oshkosh. It would have been welcoming to see the guard get called up to any team in the association due to his hard work, but it is even better that he gets to stay in the state and join the Milwaukee Bucks for their run in the 2022 NBA Playoffs.
