3 most important role players for Milwaukee Bucks against Chicago Bulls – Grayson Allen

Did you expect a discussion about a series between the Bucks and the Bulls to not include Grayson Allen?

There has been much discussion about Allen’s relationship with the Chicago Bulls team throughout this season. The beef between Allen and the Bulls stems from a hard foul by Allen on the Bulls’ Alex Caruso that led to Caruso suffering a fractured wrist.

Since the foul, Bulls players and fans have made their grievances with Allen known. The Bulls have retaliated against Allen with a couple of hard fouls of their own against him. Their fans have retaliated by serenating him with boos every time he touches the ball when he’s in Chicago.

His shooting is what could make the backstory behind Allen and the Bulls play to Milwaukee’s favor in the series. If Allen is able to put together a solid series, there are few, if any, things that could be more demoralizing for Chicago than to have their nemesis perform well and end their season. Production from Allen could help get the crowd into the game in Milwaukee and silence the crowd in Chicago.

Allen enters the series on a hot streak shooting after having shot 49% from 3 in the month of March and 43% in the 2 games that he played in April. Milwaukee will need this to continue throughout the playoffs to help spark another postseason run. Bench production is an area that the team struggled with for the majority of the season.

While it has improved mightily since Portis and Allen were moved there, this is no time to get complacent. It’s go time.
