Milwaukee Bucks vs. Chicago Bulls Game 2 Grades: Chicago Bulls: A

The Chicago Bulls recovered from their game one loss and earned a win in game two. Demar DeRozan had the best playoff game of his career, he was 6-of-25 in the opener of this series on Sunday, last night he shot 16-of-31 and finished with a playoff career-high 41 points with seven rebounds and four assists.

DeRozan wasn’t the only starter to shoot over 50 percent from the field, Nikola Vucevic was 10-of-18, including 4-of-8 from the 3-point line en route to 24 points to go with his 13 rebounds. Also Zach Lavine needed just 13 shots to score 20 points, he made seven of them, three of them beyond the arc. Patrick Williams was also over 50 percent from the field, making five of his nine attempts on his way to 10 points and nine rebounds.

The only starter not to shoot over 50 percent was Alex Caruso and his fingerprints were all over this game in other ways, Caruso dished 10 assists and regularly found the open man for the Chicago Bulls offense and he was stout defensively, contributing two blocks and two steals.

The Bulls earned this victory but the Bucks still have reason for optimism, it took two of the Bucks’ best players exiting the game early and the best playoff game of Demar DeRozan’s career for the Bulls to win by just four.
