Grayson Allen followed up his strong Game 3 performance with an even better outing in Game 4 to fuel the Milwaukee Bucks’ big win

After a lackluster start to the series in Games 1 and 2, Grayson Allen came to life for the Bucks in Game 3 by providing a spark as he tallied 22 points off the bench. The Bucks needed Allen to step up once again in Game 4, and he obliged by having the best game of his NBA Playoff career yet.

Offensively, the marksman found his stroke in the first half by scoring a team-high 16 points on an efficient 6-of-8 from the field, including 4-of-5 from downtown. He carried that hot hand over into the second half by scoring 11 more points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting, including two triples. Allen is responsible for a handful of Holiday’s seven assists in this one as he knocked down a few triples off passes from his backcourt mate, as the two helped spark big games for one another.

Allen finished with a playoff career-high 27 points off the bench as he caught fire on the afternoon and never let up against the Bulls. The guard outscored Chicago’s bench 27-15 by himself as they had no answer to combat his offensive onslaught in this one. In addition to his scoring production, Allen had a major impact on the defensive end as he tallied three steals, having made his presence felt all afternoon with some key plays.

With Khris Middleton sidelined for the rest of this series with an MCL sprain and the team’s bench production hindering the Bucks throughout the first several games, the team needed someone to step up. Allen has gladly answered the call with 49 points over these last two games after he had scored a mere three points in the first two matchups combined. Allen has flipped the switch in this series entirely in the last two games, and the Milwaukee Bucks have certainly benefitted from it.
