Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated for the Milwaukee Bucks in limited minutes to propel the home team to a Game 5 win

From the moment this game tipped off, Giannis Antetokounmpo made it clear that he wanted this series between the Bucks and Bulls to end last night.

The Greek Freak had 15 points in the opening quarter alone as he shot a flawless 5-of-5 from the floor, which included an eye-popping putback dunk on the first play. Due to his aggressiveness, he also notched seven free throw attempts in the first quarter, five of which he buried. Giannis also had a significant impact on the glass as he hauled in six rebounds in the first 12 minutes of play.

This hot start set the tone for Antetokounmpo for the remainder of the contest as he did not let up. In total, he finished with 33 points on 11-of-15 shooting (73.3 percent), nine boards, and three assists in just a tick over 30 minutes played in what was a dominant performance. After missing those two early free throws in the first, Antetokounmpo missed just one more try during the remainder of the game and finished 11-of-14 (78.6 percent) as he looked as confident as ever whenever he stepped to the stripe.

Now, the Milwaukee Bucks will need more of this from Antetokounmpo as they prepare for round two against the Boston Celtics. With no Khris Middleton for the time being, Antetokounmpo must come out and continue to shoulder a significant amount of responsibility while also setting a tone to start the game as he did last night. For now, Giannis and the Bucks will have some time to gear up before they face the Celtics in Game 1 this Sunday.
