Assessing Clutch Points’ Derrick Rose trade for the Milwaukee Bucks

The verdict on Clutch Points’ Derrick Rose trade between the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks
Though this trade idea between the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks is certainly interesting, it is tough to imagine it getting done this offseason.
In theory, Rose would be a tremendous addition to this bench unit as he would provide scoring and playmaking better than Hill could. Considering they are on the record having expressed interest in a deal for the former MVP within the past year or so, it would not be surprising to see the Bucks at least inquire about his availability. However, the Knicks would likely not bite on this package, given how pivotal Rose is to their success and his established relationship with coach Thibodeau. If they were willing to entertain offers for Rose, it would likely take more than a 35-year-old George Hill and Grayson Allen, who had his share of struggles on the big stage in the NBA Playoffs.
The Bucks would be wise to at least do their due diligence, given how they need to upgrade at the backup point guard position, but this offer would likely not gain any traction. This package could be potentially captivating in other trades this offseason, but not this particular one with the Knicks.
Stay tuned to see how the Milwaukee Bucks aim to improve their roster this offseason and if Derrick Rose is potentially involved in those plans.
