Milwaukee Bucks Draft Scouting Report: Jaden Hardy – Outlook
Jaden Hardy is definitely an interesting prospect with his upside as a scorer. He has the potential to really be a bucket getter at the next level who can score off the dribble or shoot off the catch. The Bucks could definitely use another guy who can create his own shot, as they really struggled to do that in the playoffs without Khris Middleton.
However, Hardy definitely has a ways to go in other areas. His defense, decision-making, and finishing all need to be improved, and these are things that probably keep him off the court in his first year or two. There are tons of players who can score, but if he can’t develop any other skill, he may struggle to become a regular rotation guy.
Overall, I think the Bucks can do a lot better than Jaden Hardy with their first round pick, as he has too many big weaknesses to be able to play in the playoffs currently. His shot creation and scoring ability are enticing, but without the ability to do much else, I would like to see the Bucks go with someone else who has a higher floor and will not need the ball in their hands quite as much to make an impact.

It will be interesting to see where Jaden Hardy falls on draft night.
