Milwaukee Bucks 2022 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Christian Braun
Milwaukee Bucks Draft Scouting Report: Christian Braun – Outlook
Christian Braun looks like he will be a very impactful 3&D wing in the NBA, and he is the exact type of role player that the Bucks (or any other team) could use on their roster. He can shoot, defend, pass, handle the ball, play in transition, and brings tremendous energy and passion. He is a winning player and someone who looks like he could come in and contribute right away for Milwaukee in a variety of ways.
The negatives to drafting Braun for the Bucks are that his upside may be capped due to his limited ability to create his own offense on the perimeter. He isn’t someone who you give the ball often to go get a bucket, but rather more of just a spot up and transition threat.
I think Christian Braun would be one of the best selections the Bucks could make in this draft with the 24th pick. He seems destined to be a good role player with how much he brings to the table on both ends, and he would immediately be able to make an impact for the Bucks. Think of him as potentially a more versatile and skilled Pat Connaughton (equally athletic and good at shooting, but Braun is a better ball handler, defender, and open floor scorer). I would love to see Christian Braun in a Milwaukee Bucks uniform next season.
