Milwaukee Bucks Draft Scouting Report: Kendall Brown – Outlook

Kendall Brown is an exciting player with his athleticism and leaping ability, and he has the potential to do several things well. If the Bucks draft him and he irons out his weaknesses, Milwaukee could be getting a 3&D forward who can also excel in transition and as an off-ball scorer.

The issue with the Bucks drafting Brown is that his weaknesses are the Bucks’ biggest needs. He isn’t a proven shooter, he is inconsistent defensively, and he cannot really create his own offense. He can realistically improve all of these areas, but that would take time and the Bucks likely don’t want to wait.

For this reason, I would rather see the Bucks go elsewhere with the 24th pick. They need more shooting and defense out of a pick right now than Brown can give them, and although he is an intriguing prospect because of his potential, he doesn’t really fit what the Bucks need at this moment.
