Milwaukee Bucks Draft Scouting Report: Wendell Moore Jr. – Outlook

Wendell Moore Jr.’s fanatic junior season has made him a potential first-round prospect again after he struggled to live up to his hype in his first two seasons at Duke. He has the potential to be a do-it-all wing for the Bucks who can handle the ball, pass, defend, shoot, make plays off the ball, and has some scoring upside. The Bucks need another ball handler and some more size at the wing, and Moore can provide both.

The downside to drafting Moore for the Milwaukee Bucks is that he may not have the highest ceiling due to his limited athleticism, and he is a bit of a question mark because of how poorly he played in his first two seasons. He may need some time to transition to the pros, just as he needed time to transition from high school to college.

I think Wendell Moore Jr. would be a fantastic value for the Bucks with the 24th pick because of everything he can bring to the table. I trust what I saw from him last season and think he will be closer to that level of a player compared to his first two seasons. He can give the Bucks ball handling, shooting, defense, passing, size at the wing… pretty much anything they need. I would love this pick for the Bucks.
