Milwaukee Bucks: 3 combo guard free agents to pursue this offseason – 3. Aaron Holiday

Lastly, Aaron Holiday could emerge as a potential free agent candidate for the Milwaukee Bucks to pursue this summer. Obviously, Holiday is the younger brother of Milwaukee’s Jrue Holiday.

At 25 years old, it still doesn’t seem like Aaron Holiday has had the opportunity to showcase his full package on a consistent basis and grow into his own. He’s bounced around a bit to begin his career and finished last season with the Phoenix Suns after being traded by the Washington Wizards before the deadline.

He’ll be a restricted free agent this offseason but if the Suns aren’t willing to match any offer sheets that comes his way, the Bucks could be interested in pairing Holiday with his brother. While Jrue would help Aaron develop on both ends of the floor each day, Aaron could slowly transition into a rotation role for Milwaukee if all goes well.

He’s shown flashy playmaking abilities similar to Jrue and shot 37.9 percent from 3-point range last season, but certainly doesn’t compare to Jrue on the defensive end. Given the connection and combo guard need for the Milwaukee Bucks, taking a chance on Aaron Holiday could be well worth the investment.
