Takeaways from the Milwaukee Bucks’ win over Pacers: Saving the best for last

The Milwaukee Bucks certainly made this game interesting and definitely saved their best for last. The Milwaukee Bucks played a nearly flawless fourth quarter. The Bucks scored 39 points in the final frame and held the Pacers to 21, their lowest quarter of the game, which was just lower than the 22 they allowed to Indiana in the 3rd quarter. That 39-21 fourth quarter turned a five-point deficit into a 13-point Milwaukee Bucks victory.

The Milwaukee Bucks made 14-of-18 shots in the fourth quarter, a blistering 77.8 percent from the field. Of those 14 makes, the Bucks assisted on nine of them, so ball movement was certainly a catalyst of this comeback win. To paint the assists in an even better light, the Milwaukee Bucks committed just one turnover in the fourth quarter, only one, which was a fantastic sight to see.

The Bucks were 6-of-10 behind the arc as well; Jordan Nwora and Grayson Allen made two each in the fourth quarter.

Jrue Holiday was an absolute master for the Bucks in the fourth quarter also. Acting as the Bucks closer, playing nine of the final 12 minutes, Jrue made 5-of-6 shots, scoring 11 of his 35 points in the final quarter. The only shot he missed was a deep 3-point shot he hoisted up in the final minute to avoid a shot clock violation.

Next. Shooting from Bobby Portis, Pat Connaughton will be key for the Bucks. dark

Bonus stat: The Milwaukee Bucks did not allow the Pacers any second-chance points in this game. Stay tuned for takeaways from Tuesday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors.
