The Kobe line is one of Nike’s most popular signature shoes in all of the NBA. It would be difficult to find a game without at least one player wearing Kobes. Though the Kobe 5s and 6s are the two most popular shoes among NBA players, the Kobe 4 is also a quality shoe. It might even be among the most underrated in the entire line. Joe Ingles has made sure to give them some love this year by wearing this particular colorway.

This colorway, deemed the “Draft Day” pair, is a nod to the Charlotte Hornets, the team that took Bryant in the 1996 NBA Draft before sending him to the Los Angeles Lakers. Ingles wore these in several games during the regular season, but this particular photo is from a January 23 matchup against the Toronto Raptors. Ingles was excellent in that game with 15 points, eight assists, six rebounds, and a blocked shot off the bench in a big road win.

As the season has gone on, Ingles has started to wear the Giannis Immortality 2s, another Nike shoe from Giannis Antetokounmpo’s line. While he may not wear them as much, these Kobe 4s deserve some recognition among the best worn by a Buck this season.
