Top 10 shoes worn by Milwaukee Bucks in 2022-23 NBA regular season

6: Nike Kobe 6, Wesley Matthews
It’s hard to go wrong with a classic. Wesley Matthews, like many NBA players, has primarily worn Nike Kobe 6s for the entirety of the regular season. When discussing this model, the well-known “Grinch” colorway is bound to get brought up. The late great Kobe Bryant first donned these in a Christmas Day game against the Miami Heat in 2010, and the shoe has been iconic ever since.
Matthews laced these up on March 27, which was another matchup where the Bucks visited their Central Division rivals in Detroit. Milwaukee beat Detroit 126-117 as Matthews finished with a line of four points, two rebounds, two steals, an assist, and a blocked shot in 16 minutes. The veteran has worn these shoes plenty of times this season, and it would not be surprising to see him break them out for the NBA Playoffs.
When watching an NBA game today, it seems like at least one player always has this particular colorway on, and it’s beyond justifiable. Rumors are swirling that this famed colorway, which is incredibly difficult to get, is set to be rereleased in December 2023. One of the most beloved basketball sneakers of all time is not going away anytime soon.
