It was tough to pick out just 3 individual performances from this season with so many players playing well. There could be countless Giannis, Jrue, or Brook performances but I tried to keep it to one per player and give everyone their flowers. Here are a few honorable mentions.

Jevon Carter: “When I woke up”: 11-09-2022

One of the early standout performances was Jevon Carter’s career-highs of 36 points and 12 assists performance in the 136-132 double-overtime win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. When asked by reporter Zora Stephenson: “At what point did you know you had it and had to keep going?” he simply replied “When I woke up” in one of the coldest interviews from the NBA this season.

Grayson Allen’s lightning start: 03-24-2023

Allen scored a season-high 25 points against his former team, the Utah Jazz in the Bucks’ 144-116 victory. He led the team in scoring, but it was his first-quarter performance that had people talking. The guard scored 14 points in six minutes and 34 seconds, hitting all four of his attempted 3-point shots, which had Bucks fans online in awe.

Bobby Portis beginning his run at 6MOTY: 10-26-2022

The Bucks faced off against the Nets just three games into the season, and it saw Bobby Portis take the game to Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving as Milwaukee ran out 110-99 winners. It got his campaign for Sixth Man of the Year off to a great start, scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds while showing his defensive capabilities with two steals and two blocks.

Khris Middleton leads by example: 03-27-2023

Without Giannis and Jrue, Middleton was handed the reigns as Milwaukee defeated the young Detroit Pistons 126-117. Khash scored his season-high 34 points in this game, with eight rebounds and five assists. Hopefully he returns fully fit in time for the first round as we know what he brings to the table.
