3 – Jevon Carter

Jevon Carter has had an exceptional season on both ends of the floor, which has put him in contention for a spot on an All-Defensive team. Against the Heat, he failed to stamp any sort of authority on the game, and we know what the Bulldog can bring to the table.

Carter scored just two points from four shots, had one assist, two rebounds, and missed both of his 3-pointers. He is only averaging eight points per game this season, but when playing his average of 22 minutes, you would hope for a little bit more offensively from him; he has shot above 40 percent from both the field and three this season.

With Tyler Herro likely to miss the rest of the postseason, this will make Carter’s defensive assignments slightly easier. His matchups are likely to be Gabe Vincent or Caleb Martin, both of who scored 15 points on above 70 percent shooting. If Carter is assigned to these players, he will have to make sure they don’t shoot that well again.

Carter can be a real X-factor for the Milwaukee Bucks on both ends of the floor, and he will need to step up in Game 2 to slow down the role players on the Heat whilst also offering more offensively.
